Since it's inception in the Australian winter of 2005, SOBRUSION has been interpreted by some as “a rock band that blurs the lines that divide many musical genres”. “From songs that last for less than four minutes with a precise message, to twelve minute epics that paint a picture in your mind”, Sobrusion is a melting pot of four individuals with very varied musical influences, from Queen to Metallica, from Meshuggah to Muse.

Working mainly off a Progressive Rock base, Sobrusion's sound combines the sublimity of incredibly ranged vocals and vocal harmonies with the tough, heavy rock riffage of 7-string guitars, punctuated by soulful solos and classic rock and roll grooves.
