King Shah- Blackjack ATX C-7 AWHT, Blackjack ATX C-8 ABSN
King Shah is the leader, guitarist and producer for successful speed metal outfit Metalasia and is well respected by the local industry. He studied classical guitar at the age of 8 and his skill, experience and classical base is reflected in his compositions and arrangements. He composes and arranges all songs on their album.

Their aggressive debut album, “Khalifah Alam Maya” rocked the music scene introducing the combination of two fiery guitarist playing harmony lines and a fresh approach to musical arrangement and vocal melodies. Metalasia added a new dimension to the local Malaysian rock scene.

Under his leadership the band has had a number of achievements. Their second album “Silantra…Bermulanya Sebuah Epik” won Best Hard Rock Album at the Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) 2003 Awards (which is the most prestigious local “grammy styled” music industry awards show). King Shah was also a final five nominee for Best Musical Arrangement in a Song for the title track “Silantra” a first for metal band.

The band is also the first ever metal/rock band to be given the honor to perform at Istana Budaya (National Theatre) as part of Konsert Geeta Gangsa, where modern music genres were combined with the traditional sounds of a 50 piece gamelan orchestra which was held August 8 – 10, 2003. Apart from this Metalasia has performed successfully for audiences not only in Malaysia but in Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Maldives and Singapore and held a few concerts around the country.

Despite the heavy burden being the producer, songwriter, band leader and most of everything else, King Shah as the main guitarist now choose to use Schecter Blackjack ATX C8 and C7 and take his music and playing skill to even greater height.
