Missing in Action is the leading metalcore act from Israel
MIA's band members all met during their IDF military service.
At first, the guys used to get together, play metal, drink and headband every other weekend but what started as an occasional metal get together eventually formed into what we know today as Missing In Action.
In 2007 the band began recording its first release which was completed in 2009
2010 was an important year for the Missing in Action. First, the band released its anticipated debut album 'The Cost of Sacrifice' - self produced and mastered by Slate Studios, California, this incredible full length album represents the band's journey from its early days in 2005 until 2009.
Missing In Action represented Israel later that year in the famous Wacken Metal Battle of the bands @W:O:A 2010. By the end of the show you could still hear the 5000 roaring fans screaming "Israel! Israel!".
After returning home and playing a cross country tour, the band has entered the studio again to work on its second album TBD.
