AVIATION COLLECTION PT "Bomber Girl" (2004-2005)
Introduced in 2004, our AVIATION COLLECTION was designed as a ‘playing tribute’ to not only some great WWII era aircraft, but also to the brave men and women past, present and future in our armed forces.
The PT ‘Bomber Girl’ was inspired by the nose art of the famed US Army-Air Force B-17 Flying Fortress bomber,
Specs included a 25.5” scale maple neck bolted on to a mahogany PT body, and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ‘Star & Bars’ inlays,
The hardware was distressed chrome, including the PT-H bridge, the Duncan Designed pickups (Hum and tele) and Grover tuners… to give a cool flight-worn appearance.
The Bomber Girl also had a 2+4 ‘Ultra’ headstock with matching graphics.
