AVIATION COLLECTION PT 'Flying Tiger' (2004-2005)

AVIATION COLLECTION PT 'Flying Tiger' (2004-2005)

Introduced in 2004, our AVIATION COLLECTION was designed as a ‘playing tribute’ to not only some great WWII era aircraft, but also to the brave men and women past, present and future in our armed forces.

The PT ‘Flying Tiger’ was inspired by the famous nose art and markings of the infamous US Army-Air Force ‘Flying Tiger’ squadron and their Curtis P-40 fighter.

Specs included a 25.5” scale maple neck bolted on to a mahogany PT body and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ‘Star & Bars’ inlays,

The hardware on it was distressed chrome, including the PT-H bridge, the Duncan Designed pickups (Hum and tele) and Grover tuners… to give a cool flight-worn appearance… including bullet holes!

The Flying Tiger also had a 6-in-line ‘Avenger’ headstock with matching graphics.
