ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK UPROAR FESTIVAL
RESCHEDULES BOSTON SHOW
DUE TO HURRICANE IRENE THREAT
Due to safety concerns based on the possible effects of Hurricane Irene, the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival has rescheduled the Sunday, August 28 show at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA to Tuesday, August 30. The U.S. National Hurricane Center has warned that hurricane-level storms may occur in the area on Sunday.
All tickets for the previously scheduled performance date will be honored at the rescheduled date on Tuesday, August 30. For those unable to attend the rescheduled date, refunds are available at point of purchase.
“Safety first…We don’t want any of our fans to get hurt,” says M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold. “We decided to move the show from Sunday to Tuesday so all of you crazy fucks can make it and stay safe.” Check out a video clip of M. Shadows here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-iqtGpcEqM&hd=1.
"We apologize for any inconvenience to the fans, but safety is our first concern. We want everyone to be able to enjoy a full afternoon and evening of rock at UPROAR,” says Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival co-producer John Oakes. “After the Category 3 storm blows through New England on Sunday, UPROAR promises to bring a Category 5 rock storm on Tuesday.”
The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival will rock Camden, NJ this Friday, August 26 and Scranton, PA on Saturday, August 27.
