Pickups - EMG Active 808The 707 has been leading the pack of 7-string guitar pickups since its debut in 2001, and is now available for the 8-String! Before this model was introduced, existing 8-string pickups sounded muddy and dull on the low F# string, especially when trying to hit artificial and natural harmonics, but the 808 eliminates all those problems. Featuring Alnico V loaded wide aperture coils we were able to beef up that Low F# tone and at the same time provide a more responsive super tight overall sound. |
