Summer 2000 also brought the debut of the 006. It was a more 'budget' version, featuring a bolt-on maple 25.5" scale neck with 'diamond' inlays. Available in Satin Finishes (Black, Walnut and Gray) which joined special Duncan Designed H/S pickups with solid matte covers.

Revamped as a dual humbucker, set neck model in 2003, now with Dot inlays, and string-thru body replaced the stop tail piece.
the 006 was discontinued the following year.
