SCORPION TRIBAL (2002)
Launched in 2001, our Scorpion Tribal (and the no-frills Scorpion) we designed for the modern hard-rock guitarist that wanted the low tuned range of a 7-string, but with the feel of a normal 6-string guitar,
Featuring an extended 26.5” scale, the B to B tuned Scorpion was tuned B / E / A / D / F# /B.
Dual graphite reinforcement rods installed along side the double expanding truss rod insured tuning and neck stability.
The Tribal was outfitted with dual Duncan Designed HB-103 humbuckers with special flat black solid covers. This was to add to the sinister look of this model.
A great looking full-length ‘tribal’ inlay pattern gave this guitar a unique rock look.
‘Devil’ headstock, Grover tuners , Black hardware and a hardtail bridge were standard features.
The Scorpion Tribal was available in Gloss Black only.
A ‘standard’ tuned, 25.5” scale Devil Tribal was also available.
In 2003, the Scorpion Tribal remained in our line with the addition of an arch top and a TonePros TOM.
