AVIATION COLLECTION S-1 'Spitfire' (2006)
The S-1 ‘Spitfire’ was added to our Aviation Collection in 2006. The graphic is inspired by the markings of England’s Royal Air Force famed SPITFIRE fighter of WWII.
The Spitfire was built on our S-1 design and features include a 25.5” scale bolt-on maple neck, mahogany body, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (with RAF inlays) and Duncan Designed HB-102 humbuckers.
The hardware was distressed in battle-worn bronze.
The weathered RAF body markings featured rivets and ‘kills’.
