BARON-H BASS (2004-2005)
Introduced in 2004, the BARON-H was a semi-hollow bass designed after our popular PT body style.
The bass featured an oversized bound ‘chambered’ mahogany body with a single ‘F’ hole. It had a 34” scale bolt rock maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard.
Electronics were Seymour Duncan Designed; a single MM-101 bass humbucker in the bridge position with an Active 18-volt BEQ-3 EQ.. providing 12db of cut or boost in the treble, mid and bass frequencies.
A pull ‘slap contour’ is also included, which articulated the tone when the player uses his/her fingers as opposed to a pick.
Another great feature that added to the monster tone of the baron-H was the Hipshot ‘A’ style bridge, which allowed for string-thru-body loading or traditional ‘top load’ … allowing to custom tailer the string tension and ‘feel’.
The Baron-H was available in Gloss Black,See Thru Cherry and Antique Yellow (shown).
A version of this bass may make a comeback as a special edition in 2011.
