Nadja is the bass guitarist of los angeles nu-metal band coal chamber. Coal chamber released three full length albums on roadrunner records of which the debut album "coal chamber" (1997) sold gold status (over 500.000 copies).
Formerly managed by sharon osbourne, the second album "chamber music" was released in 1999 and the first single and video "shock the monkey" (directed by dean karr) featured ozzy osbourne as guest vocalist. With the commercial success of "chamber music" the band toured worldwide on headlining and festival tours with slipknot, type o negative, kid rock, pantera, ministry and machine head.
In 2002 the band released "dark days" with its first single and video "fiend" (directed by paul brown) followed by various live tv performances such as the carson daley show. In support of "dark days" the band embarked on international headline and co-headline tours with drowning pool etc.
Coal chamber dismantled in 2003 and in 2005 roadrunner records re-released their first album with a live dvd featuring nadja on bass live at the maritime hall (1999) ~ san francisco, ca.
The band reunited in 2012 for a short run of international reunion shows and is now working on new material.
