Great bass! I have had the C-5 Apocalypse for about two weeks now. I ve had a chance to play it on stage. This has a beautiful warm tone. I was able to adjust it to get a little bit of a bite which cut through the mix nicely. There are a lot of other tones you can get from this bass also. It’s being advertised for metal players and rock players. I play for a church and it works just as well for contemporary Christian music. The pick ups are passive and they’re very hot. I about blew my sound man out of his chair when I hit th B string the first time. There is a lot of power in this bass. I have two other Schechters both are stilettos. This bass hangs a little differently than my other Schecters and actually gives me a shorter reach to the first fret which is great for 24 fret bass. The bass looks as good, if not better, than the picture. There is a small concern. The fret markers, which are only on the side of the fret board, are glow in the dark markers. It is great in theory.
