I have to say this bass is a dream. After playing with many basses, this one has many of the features I've liked in them: - Mahogany body for a deep, solid sound, but incredibly lightweight. - 24 frets, and comfortable access to all of them. - Neck-through construction which gives an awesome sustain and low action. - A thin neck with ebony fretboard, giving you a bright and fast playing. - 18v powered active sound which blast through with perfect placed humbuckers for either hand or pick playing style. (I like to play just between both pickups). - A badass yet elegant appearance. Probably the only detail I would change is the access for battery replacement. A double battery box would have been perfect. In any case, this bass is made for rock/metal. And it excels at it. But it plays just great and powerful in any other style. I'm really glad I bought this bass. And I thank Schecter for making such a professional, beautiful and not so high-priced instrument.
