I bought my Schecter Studio 5 at Long & mcQuaid in Toronto a few years ago. It has been one of the best buys I have made in years. I get a sound quality that surpasses other more expensive basses. The 5th string has tremendous sustain and it growls when I hit the 5th. I recommend this bass to anyone that asks me. I recorded an album using the Schecter and a Rickenbacker and I had such a good sound. The engineer told me he barely had to work with me. As soon as I arrived at the studio and plugged myself in, I was getting a beautiful sound w/o the help of studio effects. The tone controls give you a tonality that is not found in many bass guitar. I will never sell my Schecter.
