Hi. First of all let me say that I LOVE this guitar, and I'm writing this review after a year of extensive playing. I'm a mediocre guitarist, not a professional one (yet) so I'm writing this review from my point of view. Again, I'm in love with this guitar to the point that I wish I had it earlier. From sound, looks, feel, playability, to just about everything is great. Here are some details: Construction: the guitar is solid and heavy unlike other guitars I've tried which is something impressive for me. However, my 5 things that I didn't like are: 1) Paint where the pick-guard usually is (under my right hand) kind of started to shine. I'm not sure how to explain, but I guess the long hours of playing did effect the paint. 2) The audio jack port is almost always loose, so I always have to tighten it. 3) The pickup switcher feels a bit not in place, when switching between pick-ups, something feels wrong, it snaps fast towards the middle position. 4) After 1 year or playing it needed a slight action/truss rod adjustment, but I guess that’s normal. 5) Tuning doesn’t last very long. Sound is simply amazing, solid humbuckers and the Sustaniac is simply breathtaking and very easy and usable. The way it feels in my hand is out of this world, the most comfortable neck ever, with thin C shape, man you can shred like there’s no tomorrow. And last but not least, the look is just mesmerizing. It just looks like a piece of art. Every time I play live or jam with friends they ALMOST always compliment how beautiful this piece is. With that being said, I’d love to thank Schecter for this amazing guitar. Rock on. :)
