A True 3-in-1 Delight

-

I bought this guitar because I am a solo artist and try to minimize the amount of equipment I need to play a gig.
<br>The C-1 E/A is like 3 guitars in one: a Les Paul, a Strat, and an acoustic, thanks to its versatile electronics. Best of all, it's beautiful and it STAYS IN TUNE.

One of my favorites

This is one of my favorite guitars. Not only is it gorgeous, but it plays incredibly well. Fit and finish is impeccable. If I had to pick a downside, it would be the Schecter humbuckers. I don't hate them, but I could see a little improvement. The Fishman overpowers the humbuckers. I will probably replace the humbuckers with something with a bit more character... thinking Seymour Duncans. But for just over $1000, you can't go wrong with this one.

Amazing versatility

I received this from my wife for my birthday. I had no idea she knew it existed but my repeat viewing turned into a pop-up on her laptop... That said, I count thirteen distinct voicings with the switching possibilities. Like another reviewer stated, it takes the place of three guitars I would use on stage. The pickups are listed as diamond plus humbuckers which are the same as on my C6 but they look more like P90's. Looks can be deceiving but these also have similar range to those on my C6. The split settings add more bite but not as much higher frequency response as I would have hoped. The Fishman delivers the upper frequencies the magnetics don't. Still an amazingly capable guitar and a bargain if you think of the three variations you don't need to purchase. I love that this has the same neck profile as my other Schecters so it feels immediately comfortable. Great job again, Schecter...
