Reviews

A shorty that is a cut above others in the price range

Bought this guitar for its short scale size and ease of play. If your style of playing has you running all over the fretboard, the difference between a 34" and 30" neck will make your life easier with NO sacrifice in sound quality. Out of the box, it sounds like a metal or hard rock machine. I'm looking for more of a P bass sound so I will be restringing with round wounds. The neck is quick and smooth. Overall it kind of feels like holding a strat in your hands. Great looking guitar with simple controls. Unfortunately, mine came out of the box with super low action and a lot of fret buzz. The neck is dead flat to the strings. Intonation is way off on two strings, a little off on one string and pretty close on the other. I called the dealer and was told sorry for the inconvenience, you'll need to pay for a set up. I played several shorties and this one clearly comes out a cut above all those at or below the price range.
