Awesome guitar, not so awesome sustainiac

I was so excited to get this guitar. And when it arrived and I tried out the sustainiac pickup I was...shocked? It just howls like a tone deaf pack of dogs. Two of the three modes are even worse. I don't know if mine isn't right or what but there's a review on Sweetwater saying pretty much the same thing. I love the guitar but will definitely remove the sustainiac. I've searched YouTube looking for ways to use the sustainiac but there's really nothing that helped me. And there's no owners manual with the guitar so I'm left in the dark with this thing. And just got the record, I'm a huge Schecter fan, they're the best guitars made.

Have both hard tail and FR banshee and love them both. It’s like you are playing the fastest smoothest hot rod guitar ever. The notes melt to creamy and bend to Gilmore levels. Thank you Schecter for these great tools. They just make you want to create new riffs and solos.
