Reviews

I'd buy another Schecter for sure! Looking at u, Banshee Mach 7FR😎

This guitar arrived set up pretty well and in tune. Great looks, great feel. I love the 7th fret neutral multiscale compared to my other multi scale guitars which are all 12th fret neutral. Much more comfortable fretting chords down low imho, and I don't have small hands. I'll replace the 10s with 9s but other than that, very pleased with this purchase.

Best Prog Metal Guitar for the $$ on the Market

For $1500, this guitar is an ABSOLUTE powerhouse. You get a 7-string, multiscale guitar with an ash body, maple top, a Neck-through body, Fishman's amazing Fluence Moderns (these are the 8-string pickups due to the cutout angle), a ton of tone options with the two push-pull knobs, hipshot's bridge, and some schecter-made tuners that essentially mimic the hipshot tuners. The multi-scale setup is super comfortable, the action and string tension is great, and it easily lets me get near 8-string tunings when needed w/o floppy strings.
<br>
<br>It's also insanely upgradeable over time. I've swapped the 3-way switch with a 5-way superswitch, and configured coil-split options in the wiring. I've also swapped the 9-volt battery with a rechargeable battery from Fishman. Installing a piezo system can be done too and it sounds great.

<br>If you like a more traditional carved-top aesthetic, but also love metal, you just can't beat it for the price. Period.

Fire-breathing apocalyptic guitar from hell!

This guitar has it all - just check the specs: Fishman Moderns, stainless frets, locking tuners, super thin neck, and a killer maple top. The only thing I'd change is the annoying piece of extra fretboard after the nut. This is purely cosmetic, but none of Schecter's other multi-scale guitars have it. Also, I'd move the truss rod to a thumbwheel near the neck pickup. Other than that, it's an A+ metal guitar!
