Schecter vs Fender

Right now I have two Bass Guitars my Schecter HRE-4 and a Fender Jazz Bass which I paid double of what I paid for my Shecter. whenever I go upstairs to practice I always pick up my Schecter, it just feels better. I also happen to be on a Schecter Facebook page and a Fender Facebook page and what I've notice is that whenever soneone buys a Schecter Bass they talk about how awesome it is but on the Fender Facebook page whenever someone buys a Fender they talk about how they're going to upgrade the Bass and change everything out, which doen't make sense to me

A Long Journey

I'm a gear junky. I am / was fortunate to be able to afford many different basses over the last 25 years of playing. I've had them all and played them for awhile. , USA Fender's, Music Mans, Ibanez, etc....The Hellraiser Extreme 4 is mostly my go to bass now and has been for many years now. I'll bounce around to the Riot and SLS occasionally. I am not looking for anything different now. Why this bass? or the Riot and SLS? Its the necks and how they play. They sound good too, but tones can be modified with amps/pedals.You could get a $100 bass to sound good if you know what you're doing. Playability can not be modified. The necks and playability are simply the best. I have $2k-$3k Fenders and MM basses and say " I should be playing these basses! They cost 2-3 times more than Schecters, they have to be better !!!" Nope. Do yourself a favor and save time and money. Buy this bass or a Riot or SLS.
