My impression: A folk rock/soul/country bass guitar designed by a steampunk fan. Very cool.

I'm not a player that really cares about specs, or type of wood etc, though I am partial to Schecter and Fender products. I just love the feel and sound of this instrument. Compared to similarly priced models a great guitar. Forget about price though, just a good guitar. The natural wood gives it the...well, natural look, and the black hardware gives it a bit of an ornery edge. It's like a country/folk rock bass guitar made by a steampunk aficionado. Handily covers the range of slap n pop to 'oomphey' country or reggae and anything in between. Only complaint is the tone knobs need more friction, that might be something my lazy a## can fix with a wrench though, hasn't been enough of a problem to try.
