This guitar is an absolute beast! The neck feels perfect for both chords and lead lines with its slimmer contours. I love that there is just one tone knob so the volume knob can be lower and out of the way of your picking hand. The pickups are very strat like but more rounded and very even among all 5 positions. It stays in tune great even after using the whammy bar. Check this guitar out and don't look back!

I had my eye on this guitar the very first day I saw it, and when I played it I just fell in love immediately. Yes, I agree there are better made strats out there - believe me I tried most of them at similar and higher price points... this one was thee best ! I own a Tele and a Gibson Les Paul too, and when I play this baby, she stays with me longer before I switch to another.

I bought a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS back around 2011. With its three-color sunburst finish, rosewood fingerboard and aged white pickguard/controls, it looked like a work of art and played like butter... but the N3 noiseless pickups just didn't have that Strat tone. A couple of years ago, I was shopping for amps and the sales guy handed me a Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional to use. As soon as I plugged in and threw it to the neck pickup, I thought, "This sounds more like a Strat than my actual Strat." Took it home that night and sold the Fender immediately. Better tone at half the cost ($800 vs. $1600). Sometimes, it's not about the name on the headstock.
