Ultra-5 Bass

I was looking for a Thunderbird-esque bass with more modern features, better playability and tone. I found one of these 5 strings online and I took a chance. I love that it's neck through and has an ebony fretboard. The resonance is fantastic, unplugged it's one of the loudest basses I have. I love the grippy knobs and easily adjustable bridge, I can get the action very low. I like the narrow string spacing and that because it's passive and uses standard 4-string TB pickups I could theoretically replace them with any other TB pickups without having to do major surgery. The one criticism I have is while the EMG HZ pickups do sound good, for the list price of $1,100 I think it should have come with an EMG preamp like other Schecter basses in this price range. I might upgrade it with that down the line, but as is It does sound good though, especially with a pick.
