Best Jazz Bass
RFW
I just took to this bass right away. Like everything about it. Even the strings it came with. It will cover anything J-bass and has the low end and control style available for a bit of Rickenbacker sound, too. The quality and solid feel for the price is off the charts. Worth 3 times the price. If you made a P-bass version, I would get it instead of a Fender and save lots of money like I did with this J-bass.

The bass I judge all other basses against

I've had this bass for about a year now. While it might be on the lower end of Schecter's price scale it's 100% a premium instrument and not sort of budget thing. The neck is so slim that it still impresses me after playing it every day for a year. It never goes out of tune and the frets still look almost new after a year of playing daily. The soapbar pickups sound amazing and have a large range of tone options. Well built, durable, versatile and a joy to play. The roasted maple neck with it's dark finish needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. It gets lots of compliments. Schecter, thank you for this instrument. It's a joy!
