Reviews

Awesome Instrument!

I kid you not, the best bass I’ve ever owned. Set up and practically in tune right out of the box. Fast neck, great tone and absolutely gorgeous. If you are thinking of buying a Fender, play this bass before making your final choice.

A great bass.

Having just returned a MIM Fender Jazz bass I decided to try something new. I had never owned a Schecter instrument but the reviews I read were interesting. So I ordered the J-4 Exotic.
I was blown away with this bass. Out of the box it was intonated, the action was low and aside from the A string being out a few degrees, in tune!
It is a heavy bass but well balanced. No head dive whatsoever. Wonderful to play and sounds great! The added bonus, it is stunning! Do not over look this bass!

Simply Bass Perfection

The J-4 Exotic is the last jazz bass I will ever need. The tone and playability are absolutely immaculate. Although I own many other basses, all roads lead me back to this bass. The controls perceptively sculpt the tone into various forms of round perfection. The wood and the electronics combine to create a truly satisfying and savory tone. The neck has the right thinness which requires minimal exertion from my fretting hand but somehow still feels fully stable & rigid. Zero neck dive. I can't speak highly enough about the playability, sound, and construction. After 2 years of owning, playing, and gigging with this bass, I am still amazed at the many moments of excellence it continues to provide. If I had to have only one bass, this would be it, without question.
